As some of you will already know Emma is almost 8 months pregnant we thought we would share a little info about Emma that you may not know...

Emma danced from a very young age and she knew from that moment that this was her calling in life. She has achieved the highest in Dance Qualifications & scholarships in a variety of dance styles such as ballet, tap, modern, acrobatics, gymnastics & cabaret.

Emma took her 1st contract abroad at aged 18 and travelled around the world as a cabaret dancer in 5* hotels to a Podium dancer in Eden Ibiza & BCM Magaluf. She has also presented TV shows over the years, Performed in the Erotica Show 2000, London, Podium danced for Vernon Kaye back in his DJ days & was runner up finalist for Miss Nude UK 2001. These are just some of Emma's little things. Her stage name was Miss Peaches.

She is a self taught Pole Podium artist and choreographed all the tricks and methods that you are being taught today with Pole Performers.

Emma's dance colleagues loved her style so much that they asked her to teach them when she was working in the clubs. After 6mths with 6 years experience of Pole dancing and stage work, She opened Pole Performers Dance School in 2004, which was arguably the 1st Pole Dance School to open in Southampton.

Emma has used all her skills, qualifications & knowledge to choreograph routines & pole tricks to teach others from Beginners to Professional dancers. She has taught in over 30 areas of the UK & held Master classes in Europe.

Over the years Emma has taught over thousands of girls including teachers from other dancing schools.

Pole Performers Dance School has also been involved in TV shows, Festivals & Dance Events such as Got to Dance Sky 1 to opening shows for the UKBFF South Coast Body Building events.

Emma was a finalist 08/09 & 09/10 at Miss Pole Dance UK London.

Emma has dedicated the last 6yrs to her business, where she has been 100% committed (ask her friend and family... as they would all agree they can never get hold of her as she is always working!!). She is still teaching classes 4 nights a week and weekends and taking bookings for 8 different locations.

Emma is now having to take a small break in teaching in October & November as she is expecting HER FIRST BABY - A LIL BABY GIRL.

Myself as an instructor & the rest of the Pole Performers team: Natalie, Rach, Emz, Jodie, Gemma S, Gemma V, Sarah B, Sarah M, Sarah P, Stacy, Sara B, Ami, Fiona & Jane (I hope I havent missed anyone out!) will be taking over all classes while Emma can relax and enjoy the last few weeks of her pregnancy on her Maternity leave.

Emma has been training on Poles for over 10 years and is still able to teach classes - we cant keep her away.

For Emma, she is not one to sit at home and eat for 2, she will carry on until she feels she is unable to. However please know that it is second nature to Emma, everyone experiences pregnancy in a different way therefore if you are pregnant please consult your Doctor for advice & let your instructor know if you attend our classes.

At our main studio in Southampton Emma has brought us Aeriel Silks, Aeriel Hoops & 8 Poles to keep classes & Pole Jams exciting for everyone.

There will be a huge Pole Performers Pole bash for everyone to welcome Emma's baby in December. A message will be sent out. We look forward to see what exciting new things Emma has in store for Pole Performers in 2011.
