As a GCSE dance teacher within a comprehensive school there are numerous comparisons between the Pole Dance course and the GCSE syllabus; including choreography, teaching and performance - IT MUST BE RECOGNISED!!!
Pole Dancing should become a recognised form of dance as it is really hard work, keeps you fit and when done properly looks amazing.
I am a complete addict to this fantastic dance experience. This should be based alongside other syllabus based dance styles such as ballet.
I've been with Pole Performers for 6-months and this is my main source of exercise. I have lost over a stone in weight and my body is toned and flexible.
After 22-years of being a housewife I've found the Pole Performers course liberating, exciting and have met many new friends.
I was so excited when the girls told me they teach men also. The course has been great fun and I recommend it to any other guys out there.
I have had intro lessons with the girls and can't wait to complete the course and gain my certificate.
Thank you so much for being such a great teacher, I was talking to a friend last week who goes to classes and her teacher sounds terrible! I know I wouldn't have the confidence to do half the things I do if you, Jane and Fiona weren't there to help me! The best bit about not working a weekend is being about to come to the lesson!
I used to work as a professional podium dancer in Barcelona. Since I have been back in the UK I have felt deprived of dancing as it's just not the same. Emma is wonderfully talented and incredibly professional in her approach to teaching pole dancing techniques, and can consistently manage a class with some five different levels, giving each and every one of us the attention and support that we need. I can honestly say that I never thought that these classes would be as fun or as satisfying as they are, and we definitely get our money's worth.
Thanks for getting me upside-down and doing walkovers on my third session, I love it! I really think it's going to help me with my Copoeira.
